Battatutti …
Dear Friends, Followers & Freakz,
It is with a heavy heart that we must report that our dear brother; founding member & drummer, Maarten van Zeijl, a.k.a Battatutti, will, as of today, no longer be performing as a member of “the ZAPPATiKA Collective”.
The reasons for this sad news are chiefly brought about by some recent health issues and it is there that he needs have his focus. Although, we will miss him VERY, VERY much, we (the band + guest alumni) are all behind him & understand this necessary decision. We, of course, hope that he will move quickly toward healthier & happier times….

McInnes toyed with the concept of a composition about Eastern European prostitutes who end up in the darkness of the red light district in Amsterdam, but never got around to finish it. Enter Ike Willis to share the burden and the presto: a full-on suite now sees the light of day.”

The Pony Suite Coming Your Way
Tune in at 10pm (CET)/ 1pm-4pm(US)/9pm(UK) for this special airing by RockRadio.de to launch the first ever studio collaboration between IKE WILLIS & ZAPPATiKA entitled The Pony Suite, the first piece from a new 12 track album which should be released toward the end of 2016.
Written & orchestrated by Zap Mcinnes & Ike Willis and featuring ZAPPATiKA, Jeff Hollie and Craig Twister Steward ,the PONY SUITE is an 8 minute mini rock opera with tongue very firmly in cheek.
